Project Description:
Commissioned to propose integrated marketing communication strategies for the new 2015 4-door MINI Cooper and the current MINI Countryman.
After rigorous research, I determined that the key for the new 4-door model's successful launch would be to differentiate it from the 2015 MINI Cooper hatchback and existing MINI Countryman, which also had 4-doors. In line with this strategy, II imbued the new 2015 MINI Cooper models with characteristics of the lover for the hatchback and best friend for the 4-door.
For the MINI Countryman's marketing communication strategy, I've found out that the model was loved by MINI fans but not very many people considering an SUV were aware of the model as a compact SUV. Therefore, I aimed to make MINI Countryman attractive to the latter segment by giving it adventurous and super-heroic characteristics.
